This week I wanted to try a new way of notifying you of our posts and uploads. It is a bit clunky as it is a manual process and I (Rich) am sat here typing it rather than letting Patreon send you an email for each upload we do. Hopefully it helps!
The advantages are you will get less emails and I hope you this one will draw your attention. It also means we can send it to everyone who subscribes to Patreon, including the free members, and it will hopefully tempt you across to a paid subscription either as a new member or a returning one (of our
nearly 400 members, over 150 are free and we would love to have more join a paid subscription to support us).
The disadvantage is that the individual emails give you a preview of the post which, when a postcard, might be just enough for you to look at, so you will have to click into the following links to see the post. The easier way for me to create this is by copying the National Archives' record information as well so it might look a bit of a jumble but hopefully key words jump out for you.
Also, I have to manually turn off the individual post emails one-by-one so if I have missed one, my apologies.
Balancing this, we would like your feedback by commenting below and letting us know which you prefer.
